Northern Lights Children’s Charity had created data protection policies and procedures to comply with GDPR.  To ensure they were up to date and complaint, they wanted to have a ‘health-check’ of the current policies and procedures carried out on their GDPR system by an independent professional.

Dave McKay Data Protection Officer at Pro Networks said ‘Working with the charity was an out and out joy. They were straight forward to work with, receptive, enthusiastic and willing to engage in the process at every stage. They had created a ground base of policies to work from. Some of these required a little rework, and some new policies were created to bring them fully in line with the regulations. I’m pleased to say Northern Lights are every bit as serious about safeguarding the personal data of the children as they are about ensuring the safety, enjoyment and delight of the children during the visits to Lapland.

I write policies and procedures for Pro-Networks’ client’s day in and day out. Our customers are always grateful of course, but to be able to do what you normally do in a scenario where you are directly impacting such a special and deserving cause, is simply fantastic. I’m delighted I have had the chance to do my little bit to help Northern Lights Children’s Charity to move onwards and upwards safe in the knowledge they are ticking all the boxes with regards to GDPR’.
